Our Mission
Our mission is to create integrated entrepreneurial ecosystems across Asia and Europe—connecting founders, investors, advisors, and professionals through strategic partnerships, practical training, and long-term mentorship. We develop tailored programs for talent and business development, grounded in real-world experience and adapted to diverse cultural and economic contexts.
At Magellan Group, we do not claim to have all the answers. But with curiosity, cultural awareness, and a commitment to learning, we work to build strong, supportive communities that give individuals the confidence and structure they need to grow—personally, professionally, and financially.

Michael Hartung
Co-Founder, Head of Magellan Group Europe
Michael F. Hartung, born in Berlin, is an accomplished entrepreneur, author, and thought leader with a strong track record in banking, corporate finance, and business development. As co-founder of the Magellan Group, he now leads the group’s European operations, bringing decades of international experience in business innovation and talent empowerment.
With over 30 years in international banking across Europe and Asia, Michael has deep expertise in risk management, financial systems, auditing, and corporate strategy. His leadership spans complex global markets, where he developed robust frameworks for financial growth and operational excellence.
Beyond his corporate career, Michael has long been active in academia and executive education. For over a decade, he balanced corporate roles with part-time teaching, developing a rare ability to translate theory into practical application. He draws from a broad toolkit that includes Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), allowing him to guide transformation with both precision and empathy.
Michael’s passion for entrepreneurship and talent development took root during his time in Asia, where he worked on pioneering initiatives at the intersection of education, investment, psychology, and business mentoring. Collaborating closely with private equity groups and innovation hubs, he helped design strategies to improve success predictability, investor readiness, and mindset training for aspiring founders.
Despite facing resistance—including attempts to suppress or co-opt his work—Michael remained steadfast in his commitment to ethical leadership and sustainable impact. These challenges only strengthened his resolve to protect and refine his methodologies.
In 2024, he returned to Europe to expand the Magellan Group’s presence across Europe and Africa, making his programs and leadership approach more widely accessible. Today, Michael continues to bridge global finance, strategic development, and human potential—empowering the next generation of changemakers through structure, purpose, and practical support.
